Each lesson incorporates engaging readings from the timeless classic, "The Children of Odin," by Padriac Colum along with corresponding writing exercises to practice the writing concepts learned. Drawing from the methodology of "The Writing Revolution," this guide covers an array of topics:

It can be used with any aged child who is struggling with the basics of writing, but its ideal for ages 7-12. It contains 70 lessons progressing from oral narration to written narration terminating in a summary writing project.

This guide is especially helpful for those children that really struggle with writing and need a bit more focus and guidance than the traditional Charlotte Mason approach to writing.
